I have a bachelor’s degree from Texas State University in Agriculture Business. I work for Comal ISD and dually serve as the district’s Partnerships Coordinator and Executive Director of the Comal Education Foundation. Servant leadership has always been a passion of mine starting back when I turned 18 years old and became a volunteer firefighter in my hometown of Hondo.

I’ve served in leadership roles with Hoffmann Lane Elementary PTA, Church Hill Middle PTA, Comal ISD Council of PTAs, and was honored to have been awarded a Lifetime Texas PTA Membership. I also enjoy serving on the Board of Directors for my community River Chase Property Owners Association and received the Volunteer of the Year recognition in 2018 for my role as the Events Committee Chairman.

My husband is a New Braunfels native, and we’ve been married 16 years. When we’re not playing sports, we enjoy RV traveling across Texas, fishing in Rockport, hunting and working cows at our ranch in South Texas, and all the enjoyment that hill country living has to offer, especially lounging on the Guadalupe.
