Chris Sanger's lifelong focus has always been to pursue unlimited growth individually & professionally while making a positive impact in other like-minded people's lives and the communities & organizations he believes in by investing his time, intellectual capital, and resources.
Originally from Iowa, Chris is 39, been married for 14 years to his co-entrepreneur wife since Day 1, Elizabeth, and they have 5 kids together. He graduated from Iowa State University in 2013 with a Bachelors degree, and Texas A&M University - Kingsville with a Master of Business Administration degree with a 4.0 GPA in 2017.
He's founded many organizations, strategic campaigns & initiatives, and companies throughout his life. He's even won a minor league football championship as a fullback & linebacker for the Des Moines Blaze, playing semi-pro football for five seasons, and being granted a tryout for the NFL in 2011.
Chris began his professional career in 2007 in the financial services industry at a major bank in Des Moines, Iowa and became involved in politics soon after, running for Iowa House in 2008 on the south side of Des Moines, winning a primary election.
He met his wife on a five-day free trial on Match.com circa. 2009 and they founded & operated Sweetplicity Coffee & Bakery, when soon after he ran again for Iowa Secretary of State in 2010.
They sold the bakery & moved to Texas in 2012 settling in Alvin, Texas for a while where Chris became a top producing salesperson and sales director for a global real estate agency and was elected to Alvin City Council in a historic turnout, winning by a 14 vote margin likely because of his hard fought, innovative campaign and excellent communication skills.
Chris moved to New Braunfels, Texas, in 2019 and to-date serves as a financial advisor at a major credit union, also providing private, confidential coaching & mentorship to well-aligned emergent leaders and organizational consulting services through his private label, Sanger Syndicate LLC DBA Chris Sanger Consulting.
Chris sits on the Community Development Advisory Committee for the City of New Braunfels, the Board of Finance for the historic First Protestant Church of New Braunfels, is the President & Founder of Texas Emerging Leaders Nonprofit Corporation, and a coach for the New Braunfels Unicorn Youth Football program.
