Nick Sterling is a Financial Advisor at Oppenheimer & Co. Inc with the Carey Group, a team of four other advisors and five support associates. He manages a book of high net worth clients & cultivates relationships by helping his clients create comprehensive financial and retirement plans, which help serve as a roadmap for clients long-term planning.
Over the course of his career, Nick has developed a reputation for providing individualized, white glove service. He began his career at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc. in their Financial Consultant Academy, working in a rotational program designed to prepare for a career as a financial consultant. During his wealth management training, he focused on supporting clients efficiently through a variety of trading and investment services. Nick then joined JPMorgan Chase as a Chase Private Client Banker, managing day-to-day banking, investment and home-lending needs of his book of clients.
Nick grew up in Northern California and earned his BA in Finance from the University of Oregon – Charles H. Lundquist College of Business. He is an avid collegiate and professional sports fan who loves to get out on the golf course on the weekends. He enjoys outdoor activities, especially fly fishing & hiking with his two dogs & fiancée.
Nick holds the Certified Financial Planner designation from the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. and holds FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses.
